Actually, it seems this Thornhill bloke is a legit physicist, though his
speciality seems to be anything but cosmology.

He has published a very diluted form of the rant on that site in "The
Z-Pinch Morphology of Supernova 1987A and Electric Stars", IEEE Trans.

There's a bio in that paper: Wallace Thornhill (M'04) was born in
Melbourne, Australia. He received the B.Sc. degree in physics and
electronics from Melbourne University, Richmond, Vic., Australia, in 1964.
Following a year in upper atmosphere research at Melbourne University, he
worked in Canberra, Australia, for IBM at the Systems Development
Institute and as IBM's technical representative to the Australian National
University. He was later with the Australian Government, where he
developed systems for secure worldwide communications, message switching,
and office automation. He is currently the Director of Vemasat Australia,
Weston Creek, A.C.T., Australia.
