Still today, it is not clear whether it was a comet or an asteroid or something else. We are searching for an answer. Local support has been provided by personnel and researchers of Tomsk University (Russia), leaded by the Academician N.V. Vasilyev and by Prof. G.V. Andreev. G. Longo. There, Russian and American scientists could discuss together the event. The abstract presented were: 27 from countries of the former URSS, 15 from Europe, 11 from United States, 1 from Japan, and 1 from Brazil. Abstracts are available on line (see below), while a selection of papers was published in a special issue of the international journal Planetary and Space Science, n. 2/3, 1998. * [23]Program Abstracts Participants ([24]LaTeX Version) * [25]PROCEEDINGS * [26]Photo of the participants * [27]Tunguska96 in mass media _________________________________________________________________ The TUNGUSKA91 Expedition (20 July - 1 August 1991): This was the first Italian expedition made in 1991 by S. Neither macroscopic remnants of the body, nor a typical impact crater were observed. * [28]Publications * [29]Tunguska91 in mass media _________________________________________________________________ Tunguska-related asteroids Orbital elements and citations of asteroids dedicated to scientists who studied the Tunguska event. * [30]Citations * [31]Orbital elements _________________________________________________________________ Useful Links: * [32]Conferences * [33]Other Tunguska web pages * [34]Related links _________________________________________________________________ For access statistics click the icons CAPTION: [35]Nedstat Basic - Free web site statistics [36]Nedstat Basic - Free web site statistics Personal homepage website counter [37]Free counter [38]Nedstat Basic - Free web site statistics [39]Nedstat Basic - Free web site statistics Personal homepage website counter [40]Free counter Old New _________________________________________________________________ Last update: 5 April 2004 References 1. http://www.unibo.it/ 2. http://www.unibo.it/ 3. http://www.df.unibo.it/ 4. mailto:longo at bo.infn.it 5. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/members.htm 6. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/members.htm 7. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/collabor.htm 8. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/farinella_idx.htm 9. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/vasiliev_idx.htm 10. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/andreev_idx.htm 11. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/impact/index.html 12. http://www.ss.astro.umd.edu/IAU/comm15/ 13. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/EU.htm 14. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/vienna.htm 15. http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/sci/tech/newsid_590000/590668.stm 16. http://www.nearearthobjects.co.uk/ 17. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/clarke2.htm 18. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/Tu99expe.htm 19. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/Add2002data.htm 20. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/tu99pr.htm 21. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/tu99foto.htm 22. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/tu99public.htm 23. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/abstr3.html 24. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/abstr3.p 25. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/pss-ind.html 26. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/partic.gif 27. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/tu96_press.html 28. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/bopapers.html 29. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/tu91_press.html 30. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/asttung1.htm 31. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/asttung2.htm 32. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/conferences.htm 33. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/link.htm 34. http://www-th.bo.infn.it/tunguska/link2.htm 35. http://www.nedstatbasic.net/stats?AARhLgBFhe7r6o2qBmb67kMaT5TA 36. http://www.nedstatbasic.net/stats?AARhLgBFhe7r6o2qBmb67kMaT5TA 37. http://www.nedstatbasic.net/ 38. http://www.nedstatbasic.net/stats?ACstNwYcsHOyX8o070Rw5IFxWE5A 39. http://www.nedstatbasic.net/stats?ACstNwYcsHOyX8o070Rw5IFxWE5A 40. http://www.nedstatbasic.net/
