They are /*not*/ proven, nor do they even represent respectable Egyptological research. 1. Pan-generational funerary projects run against the grain of what we know about ancient Egyptian beliefs, customs and practices. Until or unless someone can find a piece of EVIDENCE that the Giza pyramids were an EXCEPTION to this cultural rule, there is no way we can discuss any two pyramids NOT built by the same king as if they were part of an overall preconceived plan. 2. It took five generations to build the three main pyramids at Giza. Until someone can explain with evidence why the two "even numbered" kings left Giza to build their pyramids, and yet it was still a preplanned overall concept, then we cannot discuss the main pyramids at Giza being part of the same master plan. 3. Until evidence arises to show that Osiris and Sah WERE part of the beliefs during the early parts of the Fourth Dynasty, we cannot discuss any coincidental resemblances between any objects and those later references as anything but meaningless coincidences. 4. Until evidence arises that shows the ancient Egyptians did NOT think north on the ground was the same as north in the sky, then the entire Giza pyramid complex violates the worldview we DO know the ancient Egyptians held, based on their own texts... the same texts that alternative historians wish to cherry pick to try and say the Egyptians revered the beltstars of Orion. You can't pick one part of the texts while completely ignoring the overwhelming references to the other. Those are the four conditions that can ONLY be addressed with EVIDENCE. Coincidence, measurements, speculations and "what if" scenarios will do nothing to change the view that rational, realistic researchers of ancient Egypt now hold: * * *There is no legitimate evidence whatsoever that the Giza Pyramids were intended to "map" the beltstars of Orion. * Until all four questions are answered, there is nothing more to discuss on this topic. Logic and reason must be our guides in researching the past. So far, this failed theory meets neither requirement. ______________________ __________________________
