The Human Question
                                      


   The following topics, to me at least, would constitute a minimal list
   for discussion at any sort of a conference called to evaluate the
   impact of the catastrophic events of the past 10,000 years on human
   societies:


   1.  The basic non-evolution of modern man, i.e. the failure of
   scientists to come to grips with the fact that
   "too-genetically-remote-to-be-ancestral-do" is a transitive
   relationship.  My own take on this topic may be viewed here:

   The possibility of humans evolving from hominids having been
   eliminated, three choices remain as to how modern man arose:

     * Modern man was created here from scratch, recently.
     * Modern man was brought here from elsewhere in the cosmos.
     * Modern man was genetically re-engineered from one of the hominids,
       most likely the Neanderthal.

   There is physical evidence to support the second and third choices.

   2.  Elaine Morgan's "Aquatic Ape" hypothesis.  You do not need to
   believe in evolution to comprehend that Morgan is almost certainly
   correct in claiming that humans originally lived in water.

   3.  The question of "Splash Saltations".  New animal species appear
   suddenly in the fossil record;  could near approaches have simply
   dumped them into shallow seas here (from other bodies), and then they
   simply swam ashore?  In particular, could that be how modern man got
   here?

   4.  Consciousness and the findings of Julian Jaynes.  My version of an

   5  The related question of pre-flood language, i.e. the fact that the
   notion of macro-evolution does not work any better for human languages
   than it does for animals.  Again my own take:

   6. The question of pre-flood communications between humans and higher
   animals.  A starting point for that would be Plato's dialog
   "Statesman".

   7.  The question of an "Antediluvian Peace". Richard Heinberg noted
   that there are very ancient "cities" without walls. Given historical
   realities, in many if not most cultures, the words for 'city' and
   'wall' are related, the one often derived from the other... Likewise
   Plato speaks of a pre-flood peace amongst animals, at least higher
   animals, and the Bible indicates that hunting and eating animal flesh
   first occurred after the flood.

   8.  The question of what other parts of our system were inhabited
   prior to the recent capture of the Saturn system by our present sun.

   Nature simply does not do straight lines and Bezier curves on a three

   What is less well known is that there are several such face images on
   the Martian surface.  Dr. Van Flandern's website includes these:

   Note that those faces are human and not hominid.  That relates to
   questions 1 and 3.

   Aside from Mars, there are signs of human hands at work in prehistoric
   times elsewhere in our system as well.  Saturn's little moon Iapetus
   for instance:

   I've noted that Mother Nature does not do straight lines or Bezier
   curves on a three mile scale;  she does not do walls around moons on
   great circle arcs either.  The most major thing which has kept NASA
   from publically recognizing this reality of prehistoric habitation of
   other bodies in our system, particular Mars, is a paradigm problem.
   ASSUMING the conformation of our present system to be primordial,
   there is no way to picture Mars ever having been habitable, it would
   always have been too cold, and too small to hold a breathable
   atmosphere via gravity.  The Saturn theory resolves these issues and
   nothing else does to my knowledge.  Both Al de Grazia's version and
   the Thunderbolts version of a Saturn thesis postulate atmosphere which
   were system wide;  that would make smaller bodies habitable.

   9.  The question of historical chronologies, particularly the works of
   Gunnar Heinsohn, Charles Ginenthal, and Emmet Sweeney, and
   particularly Sweeney'as equation of the biblical Joseph with the grand
   vizier Imhotep of Pharoah Djoser who built the step pyramid:

   The name "Joseph" appears clearly to be a borrowed name, appearing
   only in the cases of Joseph of the colored coat and Mary's husband
   i.e. it is not a normal Israelite name and it does not take much in
   the way of transliterations to get from 'Hotep' to 'Joseph'.

   10.  The relationship between the symbols for numbers and letters in
   old languages and the claim of "Theomatics", i.e. of a numeric code
   which runs through the Bible, and whether such a claim can be made for
   any other item(s) of ancient literature.  The claim involved in
   theomatics is that words and phrases with similar or related meanings
   have related numeric codes as well.  I would view that as another case
   of humans using their minds in ways which are no longer feasible, IF
   the claim is valid.

   11.  The question of prophecy/oracles and Al de Grazia's claim that
   there were electrical components to the phenomena which Julian Jaynes

   There seems to be little doubt that the "Ark" mentioned in Exodus and
   books which follow Exodus are describing a primitive capacitor and
   Moses and others hearing a real voice in the vicinity of that
   capacitor device:

     congregation to  speak with him, then he heard the voice of one
     speaking unto him from off the  mercy seat that was upon the ark of
     testimony, from between the two  cherubims: and he spake unto him.

   12.  The question of EVP, whether or not it is real, and what
   relationship there might be between EVP and the kinds of things which
   Al de Grazia and Hugh Crosthwaite describe:
